In addition to writing professionally, I remain involved with creative outlets. From theatre to creative writing, I am passionate about exploring different forms of artistic expression.
An October 2021 production of "Stand Up Guy," a play that I wrote and directed. After spending over two and a half years writing and revising, my show premiered.
A September 2022 production of John Logan's "Red" that I directed. Performances featured live painting on stage every night and only two characters.
An April 2023 production of David Mamet's "American Buffalo" that I directed. The show's junk shop set was meticulously designed to create unexpected lighting and safe combat.
A July 2019 production of Stephen Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd" where I played the titular role. For my performance, I earned a National Youth Arts Award for Outstanding Lead Actor.
An October 2021 production of "Puffs" where I played Cedric, Voldemort and Zach Smith. During each performance, I improvised a new scene lasting approximately 10 minutes.
A February 2023 production of Yasmine Reza's "God of Carnage" where I played Michael. With only four characters in the show, I remained on stage for nearly the entire play.
A performance of my original play "Stand Up Guy," split into five parts on a YouTube playlist. I spent over two and a half years writing and revising before the show received its premiere.
A performance of "Calvin and Hobbes," as part of an unofficial directing showcase. I wrote this one act play almost exclusively through adaptations of panels from Bill Waterson's classic strip.
For the past two seasons, I have filmed and posted press conferences about my fantasy football team. Assuming the persona of a highly invested coach, I satirize common tropes in sports journalism and relevant athletic controversies. Although my league only hosts eight teams, my mostly unscripted sketches have earned a cult following among my Instagram followers –– including from non-sports fans. As a result of their engagement and stickiness, Instagram paid me a stipend for each posted video.
I am the reigning two-time champion.
